The recent Fraud Report from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) indicates an increase in the loss value of GHct6lmillion (2020: GHct25 million) representing a 144% increase on year-on-year basis. Most staggering is Internal Fraud (The Enemy within). This is a wakeup call to financial institutions to sharpen their skills and knowledge when it comes to fraud risk management. This is exactly what this training program intends to achieve – equipping participants with the relevant skills, knowledge and tools that are needed to not only prevent fraud from occurring but to also detect and put in the needed controls to eradicate this canker in our financial services sector.
